A white man, using a screen name that demeans Asians, telling black men not to hit him up…If he was taking a picture of himself humiliating a Mexican housekeeper, he’d be a racist like a boss.
It’s good that there’s a website to raise awareness on the issue and hopefully there’ll be a good response to it.
Let’s talk closer to home tho – Melbourne. If this issue is seriously bugging you, perhaps you should approach any GLBTIQ organization in Melbourne/Victoria and raise the issue with them. Get them to advocate for anti-racism/anti-discrimination in the gay community.
If NGOs can have campaigns for Legalizing Gay Marriage in Oz, maybe these same NGOs and organize campaigns to raise awareness on how this Anglo-centrism and racial bias towards minorities can affect non-white gays in Melbouren/Victoria.
If these NGOs aren’t willing to address the issue – then it’s time gay minorities set up their own advocacy NGOs and address the issue themselves. When I was in NYC, I noticed there were quite a few gay minorities NGO like a gay Asian Americans group or a gay Indian Americans groups raising awareness about discrimination in the gay community in NYC. I remember reading one press release by a gay Asian Americans group addressing what they believe was a discriminatory practice against Asians at a nightclub (I’ll try to find the link).
So gay Asian Australians and other gay non-Anglo Australians who feel they are being marginalized and discriminated should form NGOs and make their causes be heard.
Perhaps you should contact all the Aussie guys who comment on this website (the non douches obviously) and discuss the matter further with them – maybe something real good can come out of this website – an NGO in Melbourne that fights for the rights of gay minorities in Victoria…
@BJC – I couldn’t find that press release I mentioned but here’s a list of multicultural LGBT organizations in NYC:
****************************************
The complexion of New York’s LGBT community is as wonderfully rich and diverse as the city itself. And yet while gays themselves are a minority group, gay culture is not always as inclusive as it could be, even in a legendary melting pot like New York City.
Several organizations in the metro NYC area therefore exist to help those who are members of two minority communities — one due to their sexual identity, another due to their native culture or race — and who are all too often not completely welcome among either group.
These multicultural LGBT organizations help provide critical support and social networks for gay people of many races and nationalities, all of whom call New York City home. For more information on these fantastic groups and the communities they serve, follow the links below.
ADODI New York (gay black men)
Assal (LBT Arab and Iranian women)
BlackMen’s Exchange (gay black men)

Have you heard of similar organizations in Melbourne or in Australia? If not, it’s no wonder that gay minorities are treated as such…
Maybe he should stop trying to look like a “wigger” and blacks wouldn’t hit him up so often. You get what you advertise. He is a racist and IGNORANT fcuk.
First of all, he’s obviously a giant douche.
Secondly, wtf is up with ppl using this ridiculous ‘manorexia” non-word? Anorexia is anorexia. It’s not gender specific.
Lastly, this guy is not anorexic. Stop making fun of people’s bodies. Some people are large and some people are thin, and it can be very difficult for them to change that.
Look closely at the picture — he’s not white. Makes him all the more pathetic. Interesting to discover this place. Figured that there were a lot of sad people on Grindr, and here it is confirmed. Imagine any of these people 25 years from now — that’s when it gets really sad.
He’s not a douche. He’s just not attracted to black guys. His preference which, btw, doesn’t require your approval. And quit acting like you care about how people of color are treated, hypocrites.
I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both equally
educative and amusing, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head.
The issue is something which not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about.
Now i’m very happy I found this in my hunt
for something concerning this.
Excellent web site. A lot of useful info here. I am sending it
to a few pals ans additionally sharing in delicious. And naturally, thank you to

In a perfect world, there would be a ‘block all racists’ button.
P.S. Eat a cheeseburger, Manorexio.
Beat me to it. This manorexic douche needs to grow up. If he doesn’t like blacks, fine, but to make that your profile.,,
Appalling
Is there a block all too-old-to-be-sticking-tongue-out button ?
He looks a little old for 25 and why that face? Makes you look dumb and not cute
